Story of a scar.

It was a hot, sunny day. All around child laughter and screams were heard. The sound of parents voices and Mexican upbeat music was ringing. The mom's were standing under a tree observing the children play. The men were to the left of the yard in a circle. Some of them were holding a drink in their hands others had instruments. The children were scattered all around. I was two years old and was sitting on my father's lap while he was also holding a red 12-string guitar, right next to us was a blue and pink butterfly themed bicycle thrown on the ground. I was craving my father's attention to help me get down so I could go play but he was preoccupied holding a conversation with his friends. So I began to squirm to get out and since my father wasn't paying much attention to me I fell.

To my bad luck I fell right on top of the bike next to where my dad was sitting. Something sharp on that bike was sticking out and it dug into my cheek and drew a line across it. I let out a shriek of pain, that's when everyone turned to me and began to panic. I bled non-stop for a long time and when the bleeding wouldn't stop my parents took me to the hospital. My mother almost had to go to the hospital along with me. She was pregnant and out of the shock of seeing me bleedso much she almost fainted.

The scar was about two inch in length as well it was pretty deep so I had to get stitches. Through out the years my mother put creams so the scar could go away. However, it never completely went away. It's still noticeable and it's a story to tell.
