Meant to be a reflection of Him
but not even close
His love allows the roaming
in Earth
Kneeling at His feet
with grandeur power He contains
Yet not unleashed among
the earth creatures
He is still working on the masterpiece
Earth is supposed to be

Dreams
Distorted images
Deepest Dreams
Dangling in your mind
Diversion from reality
Director towards your telos
Demanding you to take action
Dance to the rhythm of your subconscious
Drink from the fountain of possibilities
Drain all the energy in the world to fulfill them
Dreams, Dreams, Dreams

Why the motto: If you want it, go for it?
I deeply believe in the motto "If you want it, go for it" because I would rather live a life of "oh well's" than a life of "what if's." It is as if I was risking something that I didn't have to begin with because the outcome can be something good or unexpected. This quote is especially true in life because we have to work for everything in this world. No one gets things handed to them, so we have to get our butts off the couch and take actions.
The motto requires a positive mentality. It inspires me to at least try because it is through our failures that we learn and remember to keep our head up. It is through our successful tries that motives for higher dreams. In a way this quote encourages me everyday to reach for the unlimited possibilities of life.

Story of a scar.
It was a hot, sunny day. All around child laughter and screams were heard. The sound of parents voices and Mexican upbeat music was ringing. The mom's were standing under a tree observing the children play. The men were to the left of the yard in a circle. Some of them were holding a drink in their hands others had instruments. The children were scattered all around. I was two years old and was sitting on my father's lap while he was also holding a red 12-string guitar, right next to us was a blue and pink butterfly themed bicycle thrown on the ground. I was craving my father's attention to help me get down so I could go play but he was preoccupied holding a conversation with his friends. So I began to squirm to get out and since my father wasn't paying much attention to me I fell.
To my bad luck I fell right on top of the bike next to where my dad was sitting. Something sharp on that bike was sticking out and it dug into my cheek and drew a line across it. I let out a shriek of pain, that's when everyone turned to me and began to panic. I bled non-stop for a long time and when the bleeding wouldn't stop my parents took me to the hospital. My mother almost had to go to the hospital along with me. She was pregnant and out of the shock of seeing me bleedso much she almost fainted.
The scar was about two inch in length as well it was pretty deep so I had to get stitches. Through out the years my mother put creams so the scar could go away. However, it never completely went away. It's still noticeable and it's a story to tell.
Crushes it happens.
I met him sophomore year of high school, we rode the school together every morning and afternoon. It was one of those friendship that you don't remember how oyu became friends, out of nowehere you just were. It was a friendship that was all about just laughing at each other and catching up on our day, up to the last detail at first. I always looked forward to those bus rides. He is so similar to me, I thought. Out of the blue we became best friends.
Then, he would tell me that one of his friends liked me and asked why didn't I talked to him. Little did he know that I was crushing on him. I had a crush on my guy bestfriend. I started noticing so much more about him then. I realized he has a dreamy smile, a cute and contagious laugh. He was sporty, he played soccer. He had soft hands that were always warm. He was such a gentleman, so respectful. And when it came down to it he would cheer me up or I would help him out with any situation.
He had a girlrfriend so I was prudent enough to not say anything about my crush or let noticable about it either. So we would just hang out and talk normally. A couple months later he broke up with his girlfriend and he came to talk about what had happened right after. That day I almost kissed him when he walked me to class after lunch, but I didn't.
The next semester he moved to a different school. We talked often on the phone. He was the only one I ever felt comfortable with having a conversation with over the phone for hours. Months later I found a a great guy who became my boyfriend. I continued to talking to him and I moved on from my crush. When we hung out one day we talked about back when we met and our friendship. I confessed to him that I liked him and to my surprise he told me he had felt the same way. The only thing that stopped us was not saying anything to the other.
It happens sooner or later with everyone I believe. It's the fact of being yourself around them. As well as knowing them too well. It's perfect making so many memories with them. But most of all because they are there at the good and the bad moments. Friendshp can move to the next level but so often it stays on the same level.

About me.
Who am I?
I am Leisli Ruiz. I am 18 year old teen, still discovering the world. I am who I have become because of what obstacles I have overcome through out these years of my life. Dependable, responsible, trustworthy, friendly, outgoing, hard working, sensitive, caring are all me. But I am more than that I am part of my family... A daughter, a sister, an aunt. I am a friend to many. I am a human being, but the rest is still being determined.

Where am I going?
I am going everywhere and anywhere. I am going to travel the world. I will form a family. I will form a home. And I will create a bakery.
How am I going to get there?
Where do I come from?
I come from Sinaloa, Mexico. A Hispanic background from both my mother's side and my father's side. I come from a family and place full of traditions.
